Lincoln Financial Network adds Philly plan advisory

LFN says tie in with DSE exemplifies growth synergies it offers independents. Securities and insurance distributor DSE Capital Management has affiliated with Lincoln Financial Advisors , a broker-dealer and RIA in Lincoln Financial Network . Its previous broker-dealer was Equity Services, a subsidiary of Montpelier, Vt.-based National Life Group.
Radnor, Pa.-based DSE provides financial education and plan implementation for individuals and corporate retirement-plan participants. It has about 12 affiliated advisors in and around great Philadelphia and expects to add 15 more before 2010.

"DSE believes that financial advisors who are stakeholders in the group will put their client's interests first and, as a result, will cultivate long-term relationships with clients," says LFA head David Berkowitz. "This fits perfectly with the 'Serve first, last and always' philosophy that is a cornerstone of Lincoln Financial."
LFN has service-marked its new "Serve first, last and always" tag line -- in case anyone has ideas about running off with it.
The addition of DSE as "an example of our commitment to become an essential partner in providing advice and solutions to help customers secure their financial futures," according to Chris Flint, head of advisor recruiting at LFN. "This relationship will enable both Lincoln and DSE to continue to grow and assist clients in major markets around the country."
LFN -- the marketing name for Lincoln Financial Group retail sales and financial planning businesses -- supports something like 7,000 independent brokers, insurance agents and full-service registered representatives in the U.S.
